Another important milestone in our project for Futamura (Cellulose Films) was the successful completion of the HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) — a structured and proven methodology for identifying potential risks and operational challenges in technical plants and processes.
Together, we took on this demanding task while carefully considering all local and regulatory requirements. The structured, interdisciplinary exchange was a key success factor throughout the process.
A special thank you goes to the team at Futamura UK — especially Daniel Foy BEng (Hons), Amanda Studholme, Alex Airey, Gavin Brough, Christopher Green, and Mike Weighell — who, together with Roland Gottwald (TeLo) and the P&P Industries AG team, systematically analyzed and evaluated the planned Sulfur Oxidation Plant (SOP).
Milestones like this highlight what can be achieved through strong collaboration and combined expertise.
