Agreement Signed During High-Level Kazakhstan–EU Talks

29.06.2026

We are proud to further strengthen our partnership with Zhezkazganredmet (RedMet), a key state-owned company in Kazakhstan and an important player in the field of rare metals.

A special highlight of this collaboration was the recent contract signing, which took place in a truly international setting: in the presence of high-level representatives and alongside the official visit of Kazakhstan’s leadership to Brussels.

Important was that Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with EU leaders to deepen the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the European Union – underlining the growing importance of cooperation in areas such as critical raw materials, energy, and industrial development. The visit was widely seen as a strong signal of trust and long-term collaboration between both regions.

We were honored that our project with RedMet was formally signed in this context with the Minister of Industry & Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan personally present.

Our contribution focuses on pre-engineering services for a Spent Sulfuric Acid Recovery Project. More importantly, however, this project reflects what we believe in most: turning collaboration into tangible progress – combining industrial expertise with a shared commitment to sustainability.

For us at P&P Industries AG, this partnership stands for more than just a project. It represents trust, strong personal relationships, a shared ambition to build long-term cooperation between Kazakhstan and Europe and we are grateful to be part of this journey.
